The table size and lifting force can be remarkably increased by using two or more parallel lifting scissors. Furthermore, several lifting scissors make the platform more stable in case of irregular loads. With parallel scissors, for example, large personnel hoists with adjustable height can be made for the servicing of large-sized machinery.
